Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Crowns Before Chains ("CBC", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We aim to say this plainly, without legal noise.
What we collect
The only personal information we actively collect is the email address you provide when you subscribe to our newsletter. When you submit the form, we also record which page you subscribed from so we can understand which content resonates. We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, or payment information.
How we use your data
Your email address is used solely to send you new articles, research notes, and occasional updates from Crowns Before Chains. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for their marketing.
How your data is stored and protected
Subscriber records are stored in a managed database provided by our hosting platform, with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to the database is limited to the CBC team and is protected by strong authentication.
GDPR & your rights
If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with similar protections, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@qoxaq.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Unsubscribing
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we will remove your address from our list.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
